Meanwhile I have decided I will not write anything about Madonna. I still stand by what I wrote almost two years ago.
- The approval of Malawi's Supreme Court to let Madonna adopt Mercy James,
- The way some people like Robert Mugabe are presented in international western media and,
- Africa continually remains unknown and reported very negatively by some so-called well meaning western media.

There are three global issues or events that I am still trying to understand.

What is it that you don't understand about the adoption? Are you in favor of the courts decision?

Adoption is good because that child chifundo didnot have future in Malawi.
Mugabe is too old for anything let alone country leadership. A worst dictator. He had facts in the firt place place but now thinks he is the only person who canrule Zim- strange!
I never heard or saw exxagerted reports when I was in Japan. I once saw something about hunger in Malawi and there was indeed hunger. I am in UK now, the picture of Africa is very different. Its the worst- I never imagined. The possible reasons are: 1. the way Africans we handle ourselves here. Some Africans are here to steal(Nigerians are well known for that). 2. soe people still have the colonialism picture when whites ruled over Africa. Some children ask do you know how to use a cellphone miss? this just shows what type of discussion go round in the homes with their parents. 3. HIV and AIDS- at hospital when one is sick the first question asked is whether you slept with an African. its an indication for HIV test. meanwhile there are reports that lots of their people are also suffering 4. Africans the wars in most part of Africa complicates the whole issue
I differ with you on the Zim issue. What contrary thing about Zim does our own African media tell us? In any case politically speaking there is no good news from Zim. If there is suppression of independent press in ZIM by the comrade himself, I find no reason in disbelieving what is reported of ZIM. I would rate western coverage of Zim at around 65 percent.
